About the Companion Series

The CJC Book Companion Series provides interactive reading infrastructure for key works in spatial justice, planning theory, and urban governance. Each companion is designed to support three audiences simultaneously: students encountering the material for the first time, educators building syllabi and class activities, and researchers using the books as primary references.

Companions include chapter-by-chapter reading guides with guiding questions, searchable glossaries of key concepts, teaching sessions with structured activities, clickable theorist tags, and reading progress tracking. All companions are freely accessible and require no login.

The series is developed by the Centre for the Just City at TU Delft’s Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment.
